“ This stall is definitely one of the overlooked ones at this cafeteria. Very curry sauces are always phenomenal and I have tried all of their pork options my favorite is the garlic pork belly. This time I got the fried chicken Karaage and it was pretty good over a large portion of rice and some pickled vegetables. ”
“ Sutadonya is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants; when we lived in Ikebukuro, we got takeout from there a couple times a month. The prices are higher than what I'm used to but are fair for the US market. The karaage bowl is deceptively filling, because even though there's only three, each piece is huge. It's probably equivalent to the 8-9 piece bowl I always get in Japan, and it's still got the perfect texture -- crispy outside, juicy inside. The only thing I'm missing is the sauce. I don't know if Americans are just weak or they don't want the recipe crossing an ocean, but I desperately want their house soy garlic sauce because whatever they're using here doesn't give me the kick in the tongue that I'm craving. (I would also buy bottles of that stuff, nudge nudge, wink wink.) ”

I call Mitsuwa my time machine since whenever I'm in here, it brings me back in time when I was growing up a navy brat when my father was stationed there from June '80-Nov '87 in Japan. I mostly go with the curry & rice, my wife always has the seafood fried rice and we always share the gyoza. Delicious food at decent prices if not a bit pricy because of the rise in food supply prices and employee minimum wage. Food is always hot & fresh, service always friendly but seating is limited and we're always waiting to jump all over a table when ppl are leaving. ”
